Nice in winter: Strolling along the picturesque streets of the old town, looking around in the flower market, enjoying the mild climate, sipping specialties of Nice on an outdoor terrace, visiting museums, going out to the casino … while Europe is shivering. Nice offers a range of emotions … Just a world apart! Winter on the French Riviera, this is also the period of entertaining animations including the Carnival of Nice and the Citrus Festival in Menton, which we have of course included in our program.

DAY 1 : Cannes, Nice
Upon arrival welcome and visit of the city of Cannes. Facing Lérins Islands, the city of palaces and prestigious festivals extends along the palm lined Croisette and the sandy beaches. The upper town “Le Suquet” and the Rue d’Antibes with its luxury shops are also part of Cannes “essentials”. We join Nice, installation at the hotel, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2 : Carnival in Nice
Visit the capital of the French Riviera set in an exceptional site along the “Baie des Anges” which one discovers from the famous Promenade des Anglais. Visit and lunch time in the old town with its flower market, its baroque churches and its colorful houses reminiscent of the cities of Liguria.
At 14h30 grandstand seats reserved for the Battle of Flowers. The Nice Carnival is the major event of the winter.
